A favicon is the small icon displayed next to a website’s name in a browser tab.
It helps visitors quickly identify your website when multiple tabs are open and gives your site a more polished and professional appearance.
Create an ICO file
Favicons must use the .ico file format.
If your image is currently a .png, .jpg, or another format, you will first need to convert it into an ICO file using an online favicon generator.
For best results, use a simple square image with a clear design that remains visible at small sizes.
Upload a favicon
To upload your favicon:
- Open Site settings.
- Select Favicon.
- Drag and drop your ICO file into the upload area, or select Choose an image to upload the file from your computer.
Once uploaded, the favicon will appear in the settings panel.
Publish your site
After uploading the favicon, publish your website to make the changes visible online.
Once published, the favicon will appear in the browser tab next to your website name.
