Create Your Website

When you log into the site builder for the first time, you will be asked how you would like to start building your website.

You can choose between:

• Start with AI to generate a website based on your business description
• Start with a template to choose your own layout and design style

Both options create a fully editable website, and you can continue customising your site later.

Option 1: Start with AI

If you would like to create a website quickly, the AI option can generate a complete starting point for you based on a short description of your business.

To begin, click Start with AI.

Describe your business

You will first be asked to provide some basic information about your business. Try to keep your description simple and clear. For best results, focus on your business rather than design preferences or specific website features.

For example:

We are a ceramic art studio and shop, creating handmade pottery and offering pottery workshops.

The AI will use this information to generate your website content and overall style.

Once both fields have been completed, click Continue to pages.

Choose your website pages

Next, you can choose which pages you would like to include in your website.

You can always add more pages later or remove any you no longer need, so you do not need to worry about making the perfect choice now.

When you are ready, click Create my site with AI.

Review your generated website

The AI will now generate your website.

Once completed, you will be shown a preview of your new website design. At this stage, you can explore different variations, adjust styles such as colours and fonts, or go back to regenerate the design if you would like to try a different look.

When you are happy with the result, click Use this design to continue to the site builder and begin editing your website.

Option 2: Start with a template

If you would prefer more control over the look and feel of your website from the beginning, you can start with a template instead.

To begin, click Start with a template.

Choose your website category

You will first be asked what your website is about. You can either select a business category or start with a blank website.

Entering a category helps the builder suggest images, layouts, and text related to your type of business. For example, searching for “Handmade” may display image collections and designs suited to craft stores, artists, or workshops.

As you browse the available image sets on the right-hand side, you can hover over them to preview additional images included in the collection.

Once you find a style you like, click Continue.

Choose your website pages

Next, choose the pages you would like to include in your website. You can always add more pages later or remove pages you no longer need, so these choices can be changed at any time.

When you are ready, click Continue.

Choose your website layout

You will now see a selection of website layouts based on the category and image set you selected earlier.

The templates are already populated with relevant images and text, giving you a ready-made starting point for your website.

You can also customise colours, fonts, buttons, and header styles before choosing a layout. Any changes you make will update the preview in real time.

Browse through the available layouts and click on the one you would like to use.

Once selected, click on 'Use this template', and you will enter the site builder where you can continue editing and customising your website.
