SEO for images involves optimizing image attributes to improve their visibility and ranking in search engine results. This includes using descriptive alt text, relevant titles, and detailed descriptions to help search engines understand the image content, enhance user experience, and drive more traffic to your site.
To access the Image SEO settings:
- Click on the image to open the settings panel
- Scroll all the way down to find the SEO options
Alt Attribute. This is a brief description of the image that appears if the image can't be loaded.
It helps search engines understand the content of the image and improves accessibility for users with visual impairments. Well-written alt text can also boost your image's visibility in search results.
Title Tag. This is a title for the image that appears when someone hovers over it.
Although not as critical for SEO as the alt attribute, the title tag enhances user experience and provides additional context to search engines about the image's content.
Description. This is a more detailed explanation of the image.
It helps users understand the image better and can include relevant keywords that improve the image's ranking in search engine results.
