Sections are pre-designed rows of content created by our designers, each containing a mix of widgets like text, images, and more in a predefined layout. They make it easy to build a professional-looking site without needing any design skills. In this guide, you'll learn how to enhance these sections using the Appearance button, which allows you to adjust styles and make your content truly stand out.

The appearance button

To customize a section, hover over it on your page. This will reveal the Appearance button on the left-hand side of the section. Click the Appearance button to display the available styling options.

Changing the section's colour

To change the section's colour, click on a colour swatch from your palette. This will update the section's background to the selected colour. Additionally, the text colour will automatically adjust to ensure readability against the new background colour.

Adding a gradient

You can apply a gradient colour to your section.

Adding a shape divider

Shape dividers are applied to the bottom of your section. You can customise the divider's colour to match the section below it.

Animations

You have a choice of two animations: Fade and Slide. Depending on your selection, when this section appears for site visitors, the content will either fade in or slide into view.
